  1. A lot of work has been done here, but this needed a another couple of drafts. It seems like the group didn’t work together to ‘get’ what was expected of a compilation page, and to follow the instructions about how to do a good one. The best bits are the discussions in youtube and other comments. [Incidentally, it’s amazing how angry and aggressive some of those comments are. Why? I wondered.] The other sections were really confusing. While the discussions were clearly about the film itself, the other sections weren’t. A compilation page contains quotations from people who have described a film (this section is terrible, I’m sorry to say, as it doesn’t contain descriptions of this film), talked about making it (the Inspirations, etc. section does not do this), discussed it (the sections that works) and its impacts (what IT did to change people’s minds, actions, etc…). Most of the quotations seem to be the kind of notes you’d take for an essay about child labour in the cocoa industry. That’s not the point here! This is about an example of commodity activism – a film – only. You clearly didn’t get what was asked of you. This would have to be re-researched for publication on followthethings.com. Your starter work is appreciated here, but this will take a lot of time to get right. This is disappointing.

  2. One more thing. There are 153 results on Nexis for this film. I can’t see any evidence of research Nexis, which was in the instructions. This is also disappointing. Please read the instructions more carefully. This should have been a much better compilation page.
